Calculus-based course in probability, covering counting, discrete and continuous probability, random variables, important probability distributions, joint distributions, expectation, moment generating functions, and applications of probability.
Office Hours: Monday: 10:30-11:30; Tuesday 10:30-11:30 and 2:30-3:30; Wednesday: 2:30-3:30; Friday: 10:30-11:30; and by appointment.
Tests and Assignments: There will be
two tests and periodic graded assignments.

Final Examination: The final exam is
scheduled for 8:30am on 12 December.
Grading: Your assignment score will be scaled to 150 points; each test will count for 100 points; the final exam will count for 150 points; thus, there are a total of 500 points for the course. Your grade will be determined according to the following scale:
Course Withdrawal: 1 November. This is the last day
for returning students to drop the course.
