Course Description:
Calculus-based course in probability, covering counting, discrete and continuous probability, random variables, important probability distributions, joint distributions, expectation, moment generating functions, and applications of probability.

Thursday: 10:30-11:30,
Friday: 2:30-3:30, and by appointment.
Tests, Assignments and Exams: There will be
three tests, regular graded assignments, and a final exam.

Final Examination:
The final exam is
scheduled for 12:00am on 17 December.
Grading: There will be a total of 500 points
available, distributed as follows:
each test will be worth 100 points;
the final exam will be worth 100 points; and the
weekly assignments will be worth 100 points.
Your grade for the course will be determined according
to the following scale:
A: 450-500
B: 400-449
C: 350-399
D: 300-349
F: 0-299
I will assign + and - grades at the end of the semester.

Course Withdrawal: November 1 is the last day to withdraw from the course.
