- Text: Single Variable Calculus, Sixth Edition,
James Stewart.
- Tests, Quizzes, Assignments: There will be
three tests and periodic graded assignments.

- Final Examination: The final exam schedules for my sections of Math 140 are
as follows:
- Math 140-02: 8:30am, Wednesday, December 16
- Math 140-03: 8:30am, Monday, December 14

here. There are two types of files for each section
that we cover. For example, a file labeled sec1.pdf will be the slides for section 1 as formatted for class use; a file labeled sec1handout.pdf will be the slides for section 1 formatted as a handout (the overlays are flattened and there are two slides per page). You should bring the handout version to class.
- Assignments: You can download the assignments
here.
- Grading: Your quiz and assignment score will be
scaled to 100 points; each test will count for 100 points;
the final exam will count for 150 points; thus, there are
a total of 550 points for the course. Your grade will
be determined according to the following scale:
- A: 495-550
- B: 440-494
- C: 385-439
- D: 330-384
- F: 0-329
- Mid-term: 14 October. This is the last day for returning
students to withdraw from a course. New students have an additional grace period.
