Abstract. We investigate lattice tilings of n-space by (k,n)-crosses, establishing necessary and sufficient conditions for tilings with certain small values of k. We give a necessary condition for tilings corresponding to nonsingular splittings with general values of k. We also prove on case of a conjecture made by Stein and Szabo.
