having fit the triangle ABC upon the triangle DEF and having put the point A upon the point D and the side AB on DE,
the point B will will fit upon E on account of AB being equal to DE;
having fit AB on DE,
the straight line AC will also fit upon DF, on account of the angle BAC being equal to the angle EDF;
the point C will also fit upon the point F, again on account of the equality of AC and DF.
