General information SERMON is a small, friendly and informal gathering of number theorists and combinatorialists. Faculty, graduate and undergraduate students are all invited to attend, and to give talks if they wish. There will be partial travel support for a limited number of students travelling to SERMON; this support is provided by the Number Theory Foundation. As a prelude to this year's conference, on Friday, March 23 at 4:00, Professor Andrew Granville, David C. Barrow Professor of Mathematics at the University of Georgia, will be the Furman Mathematics Department Colloquium Speaker. The colloquium will take place in Riley Hall 106 on the campus of Furman University. A reception before the colloquium will be held in Riley Hall 205, beginning at 3:15; refreshments will be served.
