Colloquium As a prelude to SERMON, on the afternoon of Friday, March 17 there will be a colloquium talk by Bruce Berndt of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Professor Berndt's talk is entitled "Ramanujan's Lost Notebook", and will take place at 4:00 in 106 Riley Hall, which is building #12 on the campus map. Refreshments will be served beginning at 3:30 in 205 Riley Hall.
After the colloquium we will be taking Professor Berndt to dinner, and all
are invited to meet us there; if you are arriving on Friday night after
the colloquium, feel free to drop in. We will be at Chicora Alley,
a restaurant/bar located at 608 S Main Street
(Mapquest) in downtown
Greenville (864-232-4100) beginning at 6:00. The restaurant is
right across the street
from Falls Park, which is
worth a visit. I will have directions to the restaurant at
the colloquium. |
