The data for the graphs on http://math.furman.edu/~dcs/aaup/salary/index.php are from the "Annual Report on the Economic Status of the Profession," published every spring in Academe, the bimonthly magazine of the American Association of University Professors. Complete information for 2008-2009 is available here. The Furman Chapter of the AAUP thanks Professor Bill Rogers for having compiled these data since 1981.
