The Method   Proposition 2
    (1) Any sphere is (in respect of solid content) four times the cone with base equal to a great circle of the sphere and height equal to its radius;

and

    (2) the cylinder with base equal to a great circle of the sphere and height equal to the diameter is one and one half times the sphere.
